The DLA's Defense Distribution Systems Center is responsible for achieving overall savings to all DLA distribution depots. The challenge was to improve inventory accuracy and deliver productivity enhancements and process improvements

Robbins-Gioia implemented configuration management, work breakdown structure, cost analysis, and management information services.

RESULT: The DLA saved $7.4 million and received the GCN Agency Award in 1999 for the program.
