The Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve organization recognizes Robbins-Gioia as a
"5-Star Employer."
Founded in 1980 by two retired Air Force officers,

In a June 4 ceremony, Steve Keith (right), a representative from the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve organization recognized Robbins-Gioia as a “5-Star Employer” by presenting CEO John Marselle with a statement signed by the Secretary of Defense. Among other factors, R-G was selected for implementing policies and programs above and beyond those required by the Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act. For example, R-G offers military differential pay for up to six months and payment of benefits for up to 12 months, neither of which is required by USERRA.
