Gen. Hugh Shelton, 14th Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Joins Robbins-Gioia Board of Directors July 19, 2003, Alexandria, Virginia— Robbins-Gioia, LLC, the leading provider of program management consulting solutions, announced today that Gen. Henry “Hugh” Shelton, 14th Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, has joined its board of directors. As chairman of the JCS under President Bill Clinton and President George W. Bush, Shelton was in charge of all U.S. armed forces worldwide and chief architect of the continuing war on terrorism. During his tenure, he made great strides in improving the readiness and retention of the current force while simultaneously crafting Joint Vision 2020—the roadmap for the future joint force. Shelton also established the Joint Forces Command to consolidate joint experimentation efforts and guide the transformation of the U.S. armed forces for the 21st century. “We are tremendously honored that someone of Gen.
