Investment Governance is a hot topic across public sector and private sector, but what does it really mean? Over the past decade the OMB and the Executive Office of the President has been working diligently to put better transparency and oversight into the business of Government. With the goal of creating a process that is specific, measurable, achievable, relevant and time-bound (SMART), the OMB continues to drive continuous improvement in the delivery of America's most vital programs. At its heart, these many efforts are focused on implementing a culture of responsibility and governance into the use of American public investment.
